Impermanence

Flowing unseen and unnoticed,
inevitable change in all things.

Grasping sand through aging fingers,
sifting memories a past will bring.

No then, no tomorrow, as yet unborn,
the moment blinks too fast and is gone.

Living as it was or may never be,
missing what is, but will not be for long.
