Lost Baggage

article-1092332-02B9A99B000004B0-779_468x286

Feeling lost, alone, forgotten
Others avoid, or worse, forget
But I, we, are more than fine

Beneath the surface of this madness
Changes are made for others
Rarely seen, but I smile

Nothing is for me, I never was
Others with open eyes walk
And baggage is lost to a different flight

Illusions

Every line, every crease
A story in time is told
Battles lost and won

Yet I remain right here
As I was, never changed
Searching for the One

Mirrors tell an untruth
Life’s illusion tells lies
Seeing what was never done

Stepping out I see
A boy I once knew
Memories of no-one

Now I breathe, finally
Seeing a worlds grasp
What I need to become

And now I finally see
What I need to be
Only Humanities Son

Stoic: All Humanity is my Family

Virus

images-21

I am this virus I will not spread
Of wild abandon living in my head

I am the secret inside of dreams
The memories that make you scream

I am insanity you fear and dread
Without reason you chose instead

I am the voice, visions you have seen
The thoughts, that of what has been

I am, I am, I am, and I am in your head
Because I love before life’s dread

I am only this and have never been
And I am the one on which you lean.

Stoic.

Only Words

corona-del-mar-tide-pools-1024x683

Hearing words, they are but sound
Shallow pools in an oceans depths
Tidal whispers silence the roar of waves

In tidal pools, life is small
Struggle, to breath sometimes

Striving to live life diminished
Yet the source is near
If we could but remember

In tidal pools life is small
The oceans depths are always near

A Word On Words

lead_large

I speak, and a past floods
From your ears to a memory
Your past accessed
Yours not mine

You nod in understanding
A thought of your own, in time
A unique perspective
That was never mine

I talk and you listen
But mouth to ears are veiled
Until time and memories stop
When we are the same

When words are not needed

Paths

Until my last breath
My last gasp
I will be here
Trying to explain

The simplicity
We have lost
In the mêlée
We maintain

And to say Adieu
As I go from here
I will shed no tear
As I will see you soon.
