These Days

The clock ticked
No one listened
The alarm sounded
No one listened

Perhaps they are not listening still

Autumn Rain

cat-rain

Her gossamer shroud
Draped so loosely
Droplets fall as tears

The gathering dawn
Will drive away
Traces of dark fears

In reverent silence
The world appears
Never twice the same

Of grayscale hues
To colours unknown
Daylight lays its claim

I have travelled with a map
I became lost in this sea
Where charts failed
Floundering

Sailing into unknown waters
Adrift upon the tides

I learned of unknown lands
I found shores never seen
Where tales were born
Resounding

Sailing, the back broken
I now reside

I visited and left
I found no solace
Where legends promised
Fists pounding

Sailing berthed for now.

Till Death Do Us Part

til_death_do_us_part

Ancient promises

A vow meant for one
From who we were
To who we become

Never meant to bind
Two to one
But for one alone to find

The whole is the sum
Of choices made
Forging what we become

Unbalanced World

Peaceful

Where what is taken
Means more than given
Where gain is more
Than sacrifice

Where another is less
And then forsaken
Where keeping score
Becomes the price

Where love when tallied
Means what is breaking
And Love costs more
Than the sacrifice

Stoic.

Simply This

Busy-world

Sometimes, just sometimes, we stop
We simply look out the back door
And what do we see?
A world that goes on without us
A noisy road that is not our own
And we see,,,,I truly pray you see..
All of Life, is exactly this
You are Life,
Choose well

Paths

Until my last breath
My last gasp
I will be here
Trying to explain

The simplicity
We have lost
In the mêlée
We maintain

And to say Adieu
As I go from here
I will shed no tear
As I will see you soon.
