Until my last breath
My last gasp
I will be here
Trying to explain

The simplicity
We have lost
In the mêlée
We maintain

And to say Adieu
As I go from here
I will shed no tear
As I will see you soon.

Stoic & Buddhist

A sigh revealed

Too long covered

Virtue and sin

Melded to one

Earth and sky

Taste of life

And knowing is

The return of love

Just An Explanation

courtesy of:

I am a man of few words

Often trying to point

Trying to explain in staccato

Words may confuse

Often obtuse, without reference

Unless known, or felt

So now I open the book;

A gentle conversation:

A conversation where more is better

We all seem to be about more:

I see beauty in all things

I see love in what is unloved

To be unloved, means to me

That something was once loved

And remains

I see peace in anger and war

Without either, there is not the other

And I know joy in sorrow

For one cannot be without another

Bound as one

There is no separation in life

Tension lives in opposites

In Life itself, and beyond

And we are here, now

We always were

If I can open my heart to you

Forget the argument, the words

I can maybe see, your side

As we sit here face to face

Open and vulnerable

Though we disagree, we see

I look into your eyes

And you are me, who I was

And I understand

You do not need to

If only I can see clearly

It is enough for now

If only one knows the truth

Others will follow

At least it is a start.

Land Of Dreams

Nothing is, as it seems

Veiled and false

In this land of dreams

Beauty covers pain

Deeply hidden

No one is to blame

What you may want

Others become

Farther from the Fonte

Cut the subtle vein

The horror within

As life yields to pain

And awaken, please

From this play

You have the keys

I see and love

I understand,  I try

Unmoved in my seeing

In the least of these

I do not; I cannot, judge

Every breath a gift

Yet I cannot rest

Even if not for me

Others abound

And I fail into my,”Life.”

My Wants go

My Concerns go

I am for you.

I have always been

For in you, I am

You may be

Someone I know

Or a stranger

You may be Him

How can I know?

And I realize

“You,” are in all

Every touch I give

Every heart I know

I am Yours.

What will I miss?

Not the travesty of life

The uncaring hordes

Those trampled underfoot

Not the mindless cruelty

Levelled on the innocent

By those clad in ego and suits

Not the anguish every day

That I was here, and others not

That I could not save

I will miss dawns filled with mist

Soft silence, in wooded places

Solace in solitude

I will miss all mankind

In all their degrees

Praying they may learn

I will miss the pain

The pain that taught me

That I lived

The Custodians

We were given a gift

The world to command

All Wisdom in our hands

If the World was without us

How would it be less?

We were gifted the One

Self-aware and absorbed

Yet we are so blind

Ego raised to an art

A World set apart

And we raped it all

The world without Man

Nature’s balance

As it was planned

What was the gift

We gave?

What did we offer?

If we never were

Life would have endured

Ensured as designed

Yet we were, we are

Lost in ourselves

Until the bitter end
